Every recent technology breeds its share of health scares and mobile phones are no exception. A report released this week by Swedens Karolinska Institute, up there in Ericsson and Nokia territory, concludes that persons who use mobile phones for more than 10 years are at greater risk of developing aural tumors.

Researchers say there was no risk to folks who have used their phones for less than 10 years and they looked at analog phones only. Phone makers say there is no scientific evidence to conclude that mobile phone use increases the risk of tumors.
