The latest version of Escalate Inc.s supply chain management suite includes enhancements aimed at easing problems associated with managing a large number of vendors.
Escalate Supplier 2.5, which began shipping this month, provides real-time visibility into the status of any order while eliminating manual order processing.
New in Version 2.5 is the capability to automate the creation and reconciliation of group invoices as well as to search the system by purchase order, customer order or SKU. E-mail alerts notify vendors, suppliers and warehouses when order imports occur.
Also new are business intelligence and Web-based administration tools, said officials at Escalate, in Redwood Shores, Calif.
