Here’s a job for you: Saddam Hussein’s editor.

The former Iraqi leader needs to punch his stuff up! Try this 2003 letter he wrote on for size:

“We have said, since the great military page in the eternal mother of all battles, that review of results makes you first of forward, and make your enemy second or lagging behind you would precede him, to tip your scale over his scale, but rather by selecting a different road he does not know, or it is other than the road he planned,” and on and on for 36 or so pages.

Saddam, baby, get to the point already. And use an exclamation point every now and then.

The New York Times reports March 28 the letter is part of 48,000 boxes of Iraqi documents the U.S. military seized, and has begun making available online here.
