Having trouble reading long Web articles? Youre not alone. In fact, IBM has put top scientists to work on that problem and theyve come up with what they believe is the solution. Too bad you may never get to use it.

The answer is a screen, code-named Bertha, that has such good resolution its four times clearer than the best paper. That means when you put a magnifying glass up to the screen, you actually see more of what youre trying to see rather than little dots.

The only problem is that the current price tag is somewhere around $20,000. Even in mass production, it still may only show up for things like medical imaging and sorting out spy satellite photos.
