Equinix DC11 Expands Largest Data Center Campus
DC11, a new state-of-the-art Equinix data center in the Washington, D.C., metro area, expands the largest Internet exchange in North America and the largest Equinix campus in the world.
Equinix Data Center Expansion to Continue
DC11 is one of eight fiber-connected buildings on a single campus with more than 42,000 square feet of data center space. Equinix has also secured 40 acres of land that will allow for future expansion.
State-of-the-Art Security
DC11 offers state-of-the-art security, which meets the most stringent requirements, including perimeter fencing, guard house with controlled parking entry, man-trap entry, biometric hand-reader access, 365/24/7 guards and recorded CCTV monitors throughout the facility.

Equinix offers world-class support and convenient access to highly trained and experienced IBX technicians who can provide assistance for remote management, custom installations and equipment troubleshooting.
More Than 200 Networks
DC11 offers connections to more than 200 network carriers, 140 cloud and IT service providers, and 100 content and digital media companies within the D.C. campus.
On-Site Support Made Easy
In-mesh demarcation panels allow for on-site Equinix support without needing to enter a customer’s cage.
Upside-Down Cabling
Equinix deploys an upside-down cabling infrastructure model within all of our data centers, which allows for faster and easier deployment and management than the traditional raised-floor model.
