The folks over at WinBeta.org have posted a notice to Yukon SQL Server testers, re: the PDC build of its next-gen database that Microsoft is planning to distribute in Los Angeles next week at its Professional Developers Conference. “This build is slightly different than the version you have today, having only a few fixes intended to make it compatible with the Visual Studio Whidbey build also being given to conference attendees,” reads the note. Guess that makes the PDC build Beta 1.5, given that Beta 1 of SQL Server went out in July, and Beta 2 isnt expected until next year. Microsoft has made the 1.5 bits available for download on its Betaplace site for existing Yukon testers.
