New software from Oracle automates the paper-intensive process of maintaining fleets of commercial and military aircraft.

The Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul, or MRO, suite, which the company unveiled last week, is designed to improve the efficiency of groups responsible for these vehicles. It does this by keeping track of complicated configurations, streamlining the scheduling of routine and unplanned maintenance, and presenting enterprisewide visibility into MRO operations, Oracle officials said.

Oracle Complex MRO is intended to be used by OEMs, third-party maintenance companies and fleet owner/operators.
