European antitrust regulators on Thursday wrapped up two days of inquiry into Oracles proposed takeover of PeopleSoft. The European Commission, which has until May 11 to rule on the takeover, heard arguments from customers, competitors and PeopleSoft. For its part, SAP once again backed up Oracles arguments in defense of the takeover.
