This week in San Francisco federal court, Oracle Executive Vice President Keith Block admitted in videotaped testimony that Oracle cuts prices up to 70 percent when competition warrants. Block was called to the stand by the Department of Justice, which has brought Oracle to court to block its hostile takeover of PeopleSoft.
