Fluid grid layouts enable you to design page layouts that adapt to fit different screen sizes. The Resolution Switcher contains three icons for Mobile, Tablet and Desktop sizes that control the size of Design view as you design layouts.

The new CSS Transitions panel enables you to visually create transitions that are written in CSS3 code. Enter the values in the New Transition dialog box to create a CSS transition without writing any code.

The updated integration with jQuery Mobile in Dreamweaver CS6 makes it easier to write HTML5 Web content and design mobile applications. Use the new jQuery Swatches panel to apply a jQuery Mobile theme to update an entire application or select individual elements to style interface items separately.

Adjustable user-interface (UI) brightness provides smooth, continuous control of the background’s gray scale to quickly match the look of your video tools or work in whatever tone you like. You can set your Illustrator CS6 workspace canvas to white, if that’s your preference.

Here, pattern creation results in cleaner, more exact and easier-to-work-with paths.

With Image Trace, you can convert raster images to editable vectors with clean lines, accurate colors and reliable results, thanks to a new panel and new options. It’s now quick and easy to create and adjust traced objects.

The new Alternate Layout feature duplicates existing content, placing it on new pages with the orientation and page size that you choose.

Determine how pages and objects are adapted when the layout changes. Liquid page rules make designing for multiple page sizes and orientations more efficient.

Use the Content Collector tools to capture content from one document and use it in another.

Sprite Sheets can help developers achieve dramatically improved game performances. This is accomplished by loading one single bitmap image containing multiple frames and leveraging the power of the graphic-processing unit (GPU), instead of each movie clip individually.

AIR Publishing expands the audience reach while also improving the user’s overall experience. Developers can also more easily create engaging content by leveraging native extensions, which provides access to device-specific capabilities.

The Adobe Flash Professional Toolkit for CreateJS is available as a separate and free download for all CS6 customers. This extension will enable users to leverage the rich animation and drawing capabilities of Flash Professional CS6 and export their assets to HTML5 in one click.
