Gamma Enterprise Technologies Inc. has announced the release of its new JSAP development toolkit targeted at Java developers using Borland Software Corp.s JBuilder integrated development environment and looking to integrate their work with SAP applications.
Company officials said that JSAP enables developers to access SAP applications without knowing the SAP Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) language. In fact, using JSAP, which offers a graphical environment, developers can just click on SAP data objects to include them in application development schemes, officials at the Woodland Hills, Calif., company said.
Indeed, Matthew Minovsky, president and CEO of Gamma Enterprises said JSAP basically provides easy data integration with Java applications and runs on any Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) application server. He said that after a developer identifies which SAP data objects to use, JSAP automatically converts the SAP data to a Java format for use in a Java application
JSAP features code generators that produce code for Enterprise JavaBeans and JavaServer Pages and integrate with Borlands Enterprise Edition tools, the company said.
JSAP is available for free trial download at www.sapjava.com.
