Employees returning to work on Monday mornings not only have to deal with shaking off the weekend but also must sort through in-boxes burdened with increasing quantities of spam.

Gordano Ltd. has launched a tool it said helps users get rid of unsolicited mail. GLWebMail XT uses a confirmation feature that can be configured at the user level.

The North Somerset, England, company said the feature lets users block unwanted e-mail and reduces the risk of legitimate mail being accidentally deleted.

GLWebMail XT provides the e-mail confirmation capabilities of Gordanos GLWebMail and can protect in-boxes accessed using standard Post Office Protocol 3 and IMAP4 mail clients. It is available now, with pricing starting at $744.
