One drawback of ViewCentrals conference management software has been its inability to manage recorded events. ViewCentral Replay, released in April, solves that problem.

ViewCentral Replay lets companies externally manage registration for Web-based events and content such as training, conferences and white papers. The service is priced at $3 per user registration, plus an annual charge of $25,000.

I found the service ably provided the necessary tools for organizing registrations. The service integrates with hosted conferencing applications, making it a good choice for companies that need to control marketing and training efforts delivered via hosted conference apps.

ViewCentral can schedule live events and replays simultaneously, and enables bulk-registering users for Web-based or in-person events.

The user interface didnt behave as consistently as I would have liked. For example, the pull-down menus didnt always display properly in Internet Explorer 6.0.
