Fears abound as Microsoft joins the companies showing up their science projects about what can be done with RFID item-level tracking.

Microsofts efforts include integrating smart microwaves that read RFID tags and then decide an ideal temperature and cooking time for the product. But privacy advocates fear that the technology will prove more invasive as it gets smarter.
