… While Offshore Outsourcing Rises

Pink-slippers can look all they want for a new job, but heres the skinny: U.S.-based companies will drastically increase their spending on offshore outsourcing services. According to International Data Corp., in Framingham, Mass., spending on offshore outsourcing will more than triple, from less than $5.5 billion in 2000 to more than $17.6 billion in 2005.

By 2005, IDC estimates, spending on these types of services will amount to more than $5.6 billion, more than last years entire offshore outsourcing market.
