Fujifilm has announced two new point-and-shoot digital cameras: the Fuji FinePix F20 and the Fuji FinePix S6000fd.
The 6-megapixel S6000fd is a superzoom that offers a 28-to-300-mm optical zoom range (35-mm equivalent), which works out to be around a 10.7X superzoom. However, what sets this camera apart from other Fuji cameras is the face-detection feature (indicated by the “fd” in the product name), which allows the camera to pinpoint faces in a shooting situation and focuses accordingly. The company also claims this will assist the camera in setting the correct exposure for the scene.
