The Dell Streak features a 5-inch capacitive multitouch WVGA display and runs Googles Android OS. Widgets and applications can populate the home screen for quick access.

A view of the left side of the Dell Streak. Like the Apple iPad, the Streak measures 0.5 inch thick. The Streaks screen measures 5 inches across (Dell has yet to release exact specs), versus the 9.56 by 7.47 inches of the iPad, Dell is reportedly working on 7- and 10-inch versions of the Streak.

The Streak features a cleanly designed fa???ade, though analysts wonder whether consumers will go for its bigger-than-smartphone, smaller-than-a-tablet size. Pricing details have not yet been released.

Packaging

Cloud computing has been called a threat to the environment, but the Dell tablet boasts a green streak, arriving in packaging made from 100 percent sustainable and compostable bamboo.
