Applied Digital Solutions has announced a payment verification system that uses subdermal RFID chips. The VeriPay system will use chips implanted under the skin to transmit a verification number that can be used in a variety of security, financial, emergency identification and other applications, the company said.

More than 30 people have already implanted the the companys VeriChip for other purposes.
