2 - D-Link Debuts DIY Security Kit for Home

The networking specialist launched two home security solutions: the D.I.Y. Security Kit-HD Edition and the D.I.Y. Security Kit-HD Pan & Tilt Edition. Each kit combines three of D-Link’s smart home products: a WiFi camera, WiFi smart plug and WiFi motion sensor. The kits work with the free mydlink Home app for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets, allowing users to control the devices from one screen.

Withings Home is a smart HD camera providing access to one’s home from anywhere. It has high-quality video, complete with a 135-degree wide-angle zoom and clear night vision. Other features include two digital microphones and an HQ speaker, and it allows users to keep track of memorable events, sending smartphone notifications and recording cloud-stored videos.

In sensing mode, Brio looks for the right level of resistance, which tells it it’s an appropriate appliance like a lamp.
