Ironside Technologies Inc. on Tuesday will announce the release of a new online electronic catalog designed to help manufacturers and distributors augment product information within their enterprise resource planning systems.

Ironsides Quick Search Catalog helps manufacturers and distributors give their customers access to enterprise data.

Part of Ironsides Order Management Solutions, the Quick Search Catalog essentially enables users to augment product information within their ERP systems by defining a broad set of attributes for each product.

The searchable attributes provide a resource that enables buyers to easily search and find products online and covert findings into purchases, said Ironside officials, in Pleasanton, Calif.

Supplemental information includes such things as product descriptions, product notes, units of measures and images that can be used to supplement existing information in the host system.

Buyers can then use keywords and hierarchical navigation to search a product database and provide additional terms to refine results.

At the same time, the Quick Search Catalog includes a content manager that helps users set up and manage catalog data for syndication to third-party systems.

Ironsides Order Management suite includes modules for order management, electronic notification, wireless and electronic catalog, and content syndication capabilities.
