JNBridge, a provider of interoperability software and adapters, announced the release of JNBridgePro version 7.1 and versions 3.1 of its Java Message Service (JMS) Adapters for BizTalk and .NET.

The latest version of JNBridge’s core product, JNBridgePro, includes an upgraded Visual Studio feature that enables developers to access Java code from Visual Studio 2013. Also added in JNBridgePro version 7.1 is the ability to specify 32-bit and 64-bit jvm.dll in .NET to Java application configuration files to support shared memory communications in “Any CPU”-configured applications.

JNBridge is a member of Microsoft’s Visual Studio Partner (VSIP) Program and a leading provider of interoperability tools to connect Java and .NET Frameworks. JNBridgePro connects Java and .NET Framework-based components and applications with simple-to-use Visual Studio and Eclipse plug-ins that remove the complexities of cross-platform interoperability.

“The new JNBridgePro version 7.1 support for Visual Studio 2013 allows developers to integrate .NET and Java code using the latest .NET and Java technologies,” said JNBridge CTO Wayne Citrin in a statement. “In addition, the new version completes the ‘any-CPU’ capabilities of JNBridgePro, adding the ability to specify separate 32-bit and 64-bit JVMs in a single shared-memory application, allowing us to support our customers’ needs to construct applications that will run on any system regardless of whether it’s 32- or 64-bit.”

JNBridgePro enables developers to easily connect heterogeneous software and make it work together transparently, on-premise and in the cloud. The tool has been used by more than 500 customers in 40 countries and across a wide variety of applications in industries including financial services, insurance, media and manufacturing, among others.

“JNBridge provides effective tools for professional developers who need to integrate Java with their .NET applications,” said Mitra Azizirad, general manager of developer tools marketing and sales at Microsoft, in a statement. “JNBridge’s solutions, integrated with Visual Studio 2013, help development teams increase efficiency by reducing the amount of code they need to build and launch powerful, heterogeneous applications.”

In addition to the launch of JNBridgePro 7.1, the company also announced upgrades to its JMS Adapters for BizTalk and for .NET. Versions 3.1 of the JMS Adapters now provide support for the JMS 2.0 specification, a better tracing feature, current configuration documents and a new unified installer for 32- and 64-bit.

JNBridgePro 7.1 and JMS Adapters for .NET or BizTalk Server are now available for download, and can be purchased directly from JNBridge.
