Microsoft has established a new and rather odd post, corporate vice president of global health strategy, and has filled it with a former Softie who once was responsible for Microsofts OS/2 strategy.
That executive, Peter Neupert, also has a number of health-related credentials to his credit. Most recently, Neupert served as chairman of Drugstore.com. In his new role, Neupert will be charged with “Microsofts efforts to partner with stakeholders in the health ecosystem to help people worldwide better deal with health issues.”
