.All in the family. Time-Warners staff e-mail will now arrive via AOL, due to the recent merger. Hope they like spam.

.Driven. Wingcast, a joint venture between Qualcomm and Ford, is set to offer “telematics” to drivers, putting office technology in cars. At this point, wed settle for cheaper gas.

.Take a bite. Apple Computer opened the first two of 25 planned retail stores last weekend to show how easy Macs are to use. At the stores “Genius Bar,” an expert will answer any Mac questions. Apple finally embraces multitasking.

.”Go east, young man.” A published report says N.Y. VC funds raised more money in Q1 than Northern California, a first. And it has more electricity, too.

.No luck. A 14-year-old boy in Hong Kong was arrested for distributing pop songs over the Internet. So much for being a Napster fan.
