The HP ProBook 4510 (below) and 4515, which both have 15.6-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit high-definition displays, as well as the ProBook 4410 and 4415, which have 14-inch displays, are available in Glossy Noir or Merlot—the first time HP has offered color for a business notebook.

The ProBook 4410 offers several operating system options, including Microsoft Windows Vista and SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 10. Wi-Fi-certified WLAN and Bluetooth supply additional connectivity options, and the processors are Intel Core 2 Duo.

With its new ProBook line, HP was striving for a balance of streamlined looks, low pricing and professional features that would appeal to small and midsize business users. Pricing for the 4510 begins at $529.

The HP ProBook 4510 offers the option of HP Mobile Broadband connectivity, which uses built-in Gobi technology from Qualcomm to offer mobile broadband connectivity across various carriers, technologies and geographies.

The HP ProBook 4710 features a 17.3-inch, LED-backlit high-definition display. Like the 4510 and 4515, its keyboard is large enough to accommodate a numeric keypad as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. Pricing begins at $899.
