Going back a few years, I cant help but remember my excitement with my TRS-80 and, later on, my Apple IIe [Jim Rapozas Tech Directions, “$100 Laptop Affords Opportunity,” June 26/July 3]. The One Laptop Per Child initiative could multiply that excitement, curiosity and creativity by the millions! I believe the good old days are out ahead of us.

I have little doubt he will succeed with his vision. Please keep us posted as this project becomes an exciting reality.
