Faster speeds, lower costs and standard networking are among the highlights of new business printers debuting from Xerox in late June.
Xerox will roll out the Phaser 6300 and 6350 color laser printers and the Phaser 8500 and 8550 solid-ink printers.
The Phaser 6300 prints up to 26 ppm (pages per minute) in color and 36 ppm in monochrome. It can handle up to 100,000 pages per month. Pricing starts at $1,299. The Phaser 6350 picks up the speed to 36 ppm for both color and monochrome and handles up to 120,000 pages per month. Pricing starts at $1,799.
Xeroxs new solid-ink model, the Phaser 8500, prints up to 24 ppm in color and monochrome, while the Phaser 8550 prints up to 30 ppm in both color and monochrome. The 8500 starts at $899, and the 8550 starts at $1,299. The monthly duty cycle for these machines is 85,000 pages.
