My favorite account is twitter.com/Google, or the main account. I use it to keep up on Google events, a crucial part of my job as Google Watch editor. It’s also been good for a few story tips. Other bloggers discuss the Google Twitter account list on TechMeme.

While writing about the value I get from the central Google Twitter account, I started to wonder how other followers might value Google accounts on Twitter. Do you follow Google on Twitter? If so, what is your favorite Google Twitter account and why?

If not, will you follow Google Twitter accounts now that you have the account list? If so, which one(s) and why?

Does Google need to get more granular and add more accounts than it has already, or are there too many as it is? Note to Karen: I’d personally value in a twitter.com/Google Enterprise account.

I’m really curious about other peoples’ Twitter use in tracking Google. I wonder how much action Google might get from the microblog service.
