Cisco to Use Trend Micro Antivirus Technologies

Cisco Systems Inc. yesterday said it would integrate Trend Micro Inc.s virus and worm technologies with its intrusion-detection system software used on its routers and switches. The length and financial terms of the deal, which is an extension of a November 2003 agreement, were not disclosed. The first integration of Trend Micros signatures into Ciscos gear will be in the third quarter.
