MessageLabs Taps Brightmail in War on Spam

MessageLabs Ltd. this week announced a deal to adopt Symantec Corp.s Brightmail anti-spam technology. MessageLabs will combine its Skeptic predictive anti-spam technology with Brightmail to produce a more aggressive junk mail filtering service, said Mark Sunner, chief technology officer of MessageLabs.

MessageLabs expects to deliver the new joint anti-spam service to market in Q4 2004.
