On the heels of complaints by a number of Windows XP users regarding system slowdowns caused by a recent Microsoft security patch, Microsoft has issued an update to its security bulletin on 811493. “Microsoft is actively investigating the performance related problems and will re-issue the Windows XP SP1 patch when it has been corrected and fully tested.,” according to the update.
