Symantec Corp. executives this week laid out a broad strategy to expand the company beyond its core business of selling anti-virus software. The company is stepping up efforts to sell security software to companies and also help them integrate and manage security into their computer networks. The approach includes more services, training and consulting, such as an on-site Symantec engineer for large businesses.
