Would you believe that The SCO Group, enemy of all things Linux, will be releasing a Linux distribution?

Thats what a purported press release from an SCO-owned site in Germany, OpenLinux, claimed over the weekend. It was a fake.

Before the truth was revealed though, it seems to have fooled at least a few people on Slashdot and other online technology discussion Web sites.
