Sprint Nextel CEO Dan Hesse took a break from his busy commercial-filming schedule to show off this 4G-capable smartphone, which includes a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor for speedy data delivery.

The large, 4.3-inch touch screen makes it ideal for watching video clips, or even movies. It’s coming this summer!


Motorola i1

This smartphone, ruggedized per military specifications, offers a 3.1-inch touch screen, 5.0-megapixel camera with flash and geotagging, video, Opera’s Mini 5 browser and WiFi.


i1 Gets the Google Treatment

The i1 includes Google search, Google Maps, Google Calendar, Google Talk and Gmail. However, Microsoft Document Viewer and corporate sync are also available to let users access Word or PowerPoint files. Users can enter text for messaging with the standard Android virtual keyboard and Swype virtual keyboards, which let users write with gestures on the screen. The i1 boasts 201 minutes of talk time.

Phone Forthcoming, with Partnerships

Samsung said it partnered with Skiff and Paramount Pictures to bring ebooks and movies to the Galaxy S after the device lands this summer.

The Zio includes a 3.5-inch WVGA touch screen over a trackball. Also on the device: a 3.2-megapixel camera with video playback, a media player, Google Maps and widgets to take users to Facebook, Twitter and the Android Market.

The Zio M6000 also includes an ambient light sensor, an accelerometer, a speakerphone, a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, a USB 2.0 slot and a dedicated camera for apps such as Google Goggles.
