Resource Edge, creators of TalentHook, a resume spidering solution that boasts thousands of domestic and international resume Websites, announced it had completed a custom integration with BrightMove, a SAAS recruiting business solution. With this update, Brightmove will enable direct use of TalentHook resume search and candidate sourcing tools from within the BrightMove application. This update for BrightMove features TalentHook’s Internet search capabilities through the BrightMove user interface, allowing clients to directly launch and execute searches using TalentHook with automatic resume export and parsing for all search activity.

TalentHook is a full resume searching software solution that scours the Internet for active and passive candidates. The aim of the tool is to aid the recruiter by providing quick access to thousands of their favorite resume resources as well as desktop and ATS search, basic candidate contact management, shared tracking and comprehensive OFCCP compliant reporting for Internet recruiting. The integration with BrightMove is designed to provide front-end support to the recruiting process while giving clients access to an expansive list of resume sources that include domestic, international, pay, free and popular network Websites.

TalentHook Sphere updates regularly with the addition of new resumes, optimized search technology and features like enhanced searching functions for specific Websites, resume ranking and the addition of popular network and social media tools. Recruiters using TalentHook also have access to their social recruiting networks and top diversity sites. Michael Brandt, COO with BrightMove, said TalentHook’s natural product synergy with BrightMove’s latest release just makes sense. “Our customers can now search and source from virtually anywhere on the Web at the push of a button,” he said.

“We are pleased to offer this simplified search capability to BrightMove and their clients to further streamline the front end of the recruitment process, and encourage more recruiters to take advantage of the benefits of integrated, automated resume search,” said Phil Gonzalez, CEO of Resource Edge. “BrightMove has quickly established their product as a leader in SAAS search. This integration stands to show the recruitment community the benefits of leveraging Web-based and desktop solutions together. BrightMove clients have the advantage of conducting their resume searches across all resources in just minutes.”

Earlier this month, BrightMove released BrightMove Recruiting Software Generation 6, which included a revamped user interface. “We basically tossed out the rule book and designed the new interface around how efficient recruiters work. We were able to work with our customers to design a truly effective toolset without all the fluff of heavy Flash interfaces,” explained company CEO David Webb. “Our customers react faster and are more effective because we keep the tools very fast and efficient. In fact, we have an overwhelmingly positive response to this new release.”
