Mobile security specialist Good Technology announced the availability of the Good Management Suite, a cross-platform solution for organizations launching mobile business initiatives.

Designed to be easy for IT departments to deploy, the new management suite is built on an enterprise mobility management (EMM) platform that can accommodate future mobile growth.

Priced at $3 per user per month, the suite includes cloud-hosted mobile device management (MDM), mobile application management (MAM), a secure browser and an enterprise app store.

“This is unique in that the price is the same regardless of whether customers want to deploy on-premises or in the cloud, for any number of devices,” Lynn Lucas, chief marketing officer of Good, told eWEEK. “Good Management Suite gives them unparalleled flexibility to shift their deployment models over time as their business needs change.”

Lucas said the platform can be used in concert with the company’s other mobile management suites, with multiple environments managed through a single management console and mobility platform.

“We see our customers approaching the mobile evolution in phases. The first is enabling mobile devices, MDM and messaging. This is where the traditional BYOD problems are solved and where Good Management Suite is directed,” she said.

Lucas said the new platform is designed to appeal to any organization just starting to enable their first mobile devices, or those that have multiple- use cases, such as corporate devices with an approved set of apps where MDM is an appropriate solution.
