Pervasive Software, a provider of cloud-based and on-premises data integration software, announced the launch of Pervasive DataSolutions WebStore, where Pervasive and its partners will offer cloud-hosted, preconfigured subscription-based solutions. The company also announced two new offerings, Pervasive DataSynch for FreshBooks and Salesforce as well as IdaApps’ eCatalog Enterprise for Salesforce.
The DataSolutions WebStore features solutions that run on Pervasive’s DataCloud platform and aim to provide cost savings to small to medium-size businesses (SMBs) that want to search for and launch preconfigured applications immediately, on a subscription or usage basis. The site features trial and purchase options as well as support.
Laurie McCabe, a partner with midmarket business research firm SMB Group, said cloud computing has created a tremendous demand for affordable, easy-to-use applications that meet the needs of both small and midsize organizations and groups within enterprises. “Pervasive’s integration pedigree is well-established, and the Pervasive DataSolutions WebStore is a great resource for SMBs to quickly source offerings that synchronize data between their core accounting, CRM and credit card-processing applications,” McCabe said.
In addition, IdaApps, a provider of scalable Salesforce-based e-commerce solutions aimed at SMBs who require flexible and affordable solutions, now offers its eCatalog solution on Pervasive DataSolutions’ WebStore. IdaApps’ rapid e-commerce site deployment offering leverages Force.com’s Sites and Pervasive DataSynch for QuickBooks and Salesforce, along with Pervasive Integrated Credit Card Processor to Intuit Merchant Service.
“From a customer’s order on the e-commerce site, information automatically flows through to show up in Salesforce and QuickBooks while the credit card transaction is reviewed and approved by Intuit. The pieces all play together like a beautiful symphony, and we can have the whole thing up and running in less than an hour,” said Mina Mansour, CEO of IdaApps. “Customers can access this new IdaApps offering on the Pervasive DataSolutions WebStore, which is a great place for small and midsize business owners to access affordable instant-on technologies to help improve their business efficiency and speed time to revenue. By making our application available on Pervasive DataSolutions’ WebStore, we can effectively reach a well-targeted audience.”
Peter La, FreshBooks Integrations business manager, said their customers have been asking for the kind of two-way integration between FreshBooks and Salesforce that DataSynch OnDemand offers. “With automatic data updates whenever information is updated in Salesforce or in FreshBooks, our customers save wasted data-entry time, get better visibility into their business, and don’t have to customize their applications or learn a new system,” he explained. “The integration at DataSolutions’ WebStore can be configured with just a few clicks, so our customers can be up and running in minutes.”
