    Cisco Boasts SAN Switch Gains

      Cisco Systems Inc. improved its storage area network (SAN) switch market share in the second quarter of 2004, according to a report from the DellOro Group. Cisco posted $44 million in revenues in the quarter, a 19.9 percent sequential gain.

      Brocade led the overall SAN switch market in the quarter with $148.7 million in sales, a 2.3 percent sequential gain.
