Dot Hill Introduces RIO Xtreme Storage Server at NAB

Dot Hill Systems Corp. on Monday introduced its RIO Xtreme storage server at NAB 2004 in Las Vegas. The company is aiming the system at data-intensive, rich media environments including professional video and film editing and effects, as well as high definition television programming.

The RIO Xtreme storage server offers mixed storage connectivity to Fibre Channel, SATA and SBOD disk subsystems, delivering multiple simultaneous HD and 2K streams, the company said.
