Gadget makers last week showed off flash memory-based products at the Computex computer show in Taiwan.

A recent slide in prices and increase in memory capacities helped to reduce prices of devices like MP3 players. The wholesale price for a 512MB MusicDrive mp3 player from Information Corp. had dropped to $98 from $135 in early 2004.
