HP Mixes Serial ATA and SCSI Drives in Entry-Level SAN Line

Hewlett-Packard Co. this week introduced an update to its entry-level MSA line of storage arrays that can use either SCSI or Serial ATA drives. The MSA1500 will support a mix of the two sometime in the third quarter of this year. The storage array will support a maximum of 8TB of SCSI or 24TB of SATA capacity.
