UK-based Plasmon this week announced the acquisition of Raidtec Holdings Limited for £3.4 million ($6.08 million). The move comes on the heels of a two year project that links optical storage libraries and storage networks.
Peter Gerr, senior analyst with the Enterprise Storage Group, said the acquisition is a wise move and that the deal will make it easier for customers to use optical storage.
