SanDisk Corp. recently introduced a new 2GB version of the Memory Stick PRO card as well as a Memory Stick PRO Duo card. The Memory Stick Pro card with a 2GB capacity will be available this quarter and is expected to cost around $1,000.

The MS PRO Duo cards are roughly half the size of MS PRO and are intended for use in smaller-sized digital devices. The company will ship an adapter with every MS PRO Duo and can be used in MS PRO compatible devices.

According to the company, the Memory Stick PRO cards include security features that will prevent files from being lost or erased by accidentally removing the card while it is in use.
