Storage Technology Corp. recently said its T-Series tape drive product roadmap includes providing 1TB of native data storage on a single media cartridge by 2007. The company also said it will increase data throughput to maintain or reduce the total backup time per cartridge. StorageTek is developing its tape carriage technology with Imation and Fujifilm.
