Apple To Open San Jose Store Nov. 23

Apple Senior Vice President of Retail Ron Johnson on Friday revealed set a date for the launch of a retail outlet in San Jose, Calif.: Nov. 23, the day after Thanksgiving.

The new addition to the Mac makers brick-and-mortar chain will open at Valley Fair Mall on Stevens Creek Blvd., a short distance from the Apple corporate headquarters in Cupertino. Valley Fair Mall houses stores such as Macys, Nordstrom, Victorias Secret, Kenneth Cole and Ann Taylor.

This weekend, Apple will open a store in nearby Palo Alto, Calif. Earlier this week, the company confirmed that it will open outlets in Germantown, Tenn., and Albany, N.Y., on October 13.
