The 2nd annual eWEEK eXcellence Awards program puts the products and services released in 2001 to the enterprise IT litmus test: Can it improve performance? Can it create efficiencies? Will it help end users do their jobs better? Will it help retain existing customers and attain new ones? Will it solve a problem without creating new ones? Will the return justify the investment?

The eXcellence Awards program provides enterprise IT professionals with a comprehensive benchmark for assessing products and services that create efficiencies, enhance performance and provide competitive edge. eXcellence Awards judges are eWEEK Labs analysts and eWEEK Corporate Partners, whose real-world and technical expertise will direct organizations to the products and services released in 2001 that will allow them to establish and maintain e-business leadership while making the most effective use of corporate resources.

Products and services entered into the competition must have been announced in 2001 and must ship before Jan. 31, 2002.
