Avanade Inc. next month will roll out a suite of companion technology in support of Microsoft Corp.s Visual Studio .Net development platform.

The Seattle-based company will unveil ACA.Net (Avanade Connected Architecture) at VS Live, Microsofts official launch of the Visual Studio .Net tools, in San Francisco. ACA consists of core infrastructure pieces that applications need for the .Net platform, said Joe Mendel, director of Avanades .Net solutions practice.

Avanade is a joint venture of Microsoft and Accenture LLC.

The architecture is based on design patterns that enable users to get “repeatable delivery of large-scale operations,” Mendel said. “We can predict time to market because the instructions are already prebuilt.”

Avanades close ties with Microsoft, of Redmond, Wash., are key for one user.

“We are committed to the Microsoft platform and were impressed with Avanades deep technical expertise in Microsoft technology,” said Frank LaQuinta, chief technology officer of I-Deal LLC, a New York vertical-services provider to the securities industry. “As we created the I-Deal system and infrastructure, we relied on Avanade as our primary partner to use .Net and XML to bring full functionality to our Web service.”

ACA.Net helps manage complex data access issues, such as distributed state and event management. It delivers four frameworks that deal with the way applications are layered, security, database access and error reporting.
