Mindflow Technologies Inc. is unveiling this week the newest version of its strategic sourcing software, ProcureMind Version 1.6.

The Plano, Texas, vendor has added new features that include multi-item analysis capabilities. Purchasing managers will be able to compare demand, costs, quality and shipping for multiple items, according to officials. Using the products volume and cost analysis, managers will exercise greater control over determining the plant from which multiple items will be sent, officials said.

The software runs on Oracle Corp.s Application Server and an Oracle8i database. The tool kit is Java-based.

ProcureMind 1.6, available now, starts at $500,000, depending on the size of the company purchasing the product.
