Business performance management software developer Curl Corp. will announce next Monday the availability of its Curl for Performance Management dashboard, as well as the next iteration of its core platform.
The Curl platform enables users to develop Web applications that integrate data from multiple sources. Key to that is the softwares ability to provide small applets that can deliver large amounts of information, allowing for client/server functionality over the Web, said officials of the Cambridge, Mass., company.
With the latest version of Curls platform, Curl Client/Web Platform 3.0, users will be able to combine raw data from multiple sources—databases and legacy systems, for example—and turn that into a dashboard application.
Additional features with 3.0 include enhancements to the companys Occasionally Connected Functionality that enables users to access applications without being connected directly to a server.
The 3.0 upgrade also comes with faster loading and an enhanced GUI toolkit for more intuitive application design and development.
In addition to its platform, Curl also offers two dashboard applications, Curl Corporate Directors (CCD) and Curl Performance Management (CPM), the latter announced Tuesday.
CPM is a performance management system that enables users to access performance-related data and present it in a dashboard format for analysis.
CCD, announced previously, is designed for use by board members and corporate executives as they work to comply with governing regulations. The dashboard presents internal and external information and provides a means for communication between corporate directors.
Both CPM and CCD are built on the Curl Application Framework—a toolkit for developing custom dashboards.
Curls 3.0 platform and CPM dashboard are available now.
