For companies that want a single system for organizing Web conference content and delivering it efficiently, Netspoke Conferencing Hub is a great choice. These core features, combined with good reporting tools, netted Netspoke an Analysts Choice in this review.

Netspoke Conferencing Hub has several other factors going for it. During tests, it was fastest at uploading and converting files and fastest at launching ad hoc meetings and getting attendees on board.

Wed like to see Netspoke add tools that would round out the interactive Web conferencing services—namely, quiz tools such as those in Genesys Meeting Center—but, overall, Conferencing Hubs tools work well enough for most collaborative applications.

The Netspoke conferencing tool tries to balance the simplicity of a single tool bar across the top of the application with floating applets that manage features such as chat, audio conferencing and polling. The balancing act doesnt quite work, but many of these tools are used infrequently, so presenters should be OK.

The most trying aspect of the user interface is that a good deal of screen space can go unused, depending on the slide size the presenter chooses when uploading a document. Netspoke Conferencing Hub also doesnt have the slick look of similar tools in other services, particularly WebExs, but companies willing to concede form to function will be rewarded.

The Netspoke Conferencing Hubs content management system and reporting capabilities set the Netspoke service apart from the others in this review. Netspoke has done a good job of simplifying the management of content rights and permissions, and it was easy during tests to manage file sharing so that we could push files to other participants as needed.

On the reporting side, Netspoke was the only system we tested that let us build our own reports and export them in .xls or .csv format. Netspoke also allowed us to sign up our own users.

Netspoke Conferencing Hubs pricing starts at 32 cents per minute per participant. Netspoke also rents the application for $125 per seat per month.
