Video managed services provider Yorktel introduced the Video Cloud Connect Suite, including Video Cloud Connect and Video Cloud Connect+ cloud-based video conferencing services. Combining Yorktel’s design and video expertise, the Video Cloud Connect offerings integrate video hardware and software, networking technologies and managed services to provide solutions for “any-to-any” communications.

The Video Cloud Connect Suite enables any device, on any network, using any protocol, to connect. The solution allows new and existing video conferencing users to gain the ability to communicate via video. Unique to Yorktel, the Video Cloud Connect services are designed with flexibility in mind to meet the needs of small to medium-size business (SMB) customers looking to scale their existing video network, or enable video communications in their organization.

Video Cloud Connect+ enables existing customers to expand and extend their video network. YVCC+ is fully managed, allowing traditional telepresence, HD video rooms and unified communications clients to connect for multi-point and “meet-me” calls. Customers have the option to use Video Cloud Connect+ as the primary infrastructure in a shared “public cloud,” as overflow capacity to augment or backup on-premise systems, or as a “private cloud” with hosted infrastructure secured for their exclusive use.

Video Cloud Connect (YVCC) provides Internet-based “meet-me” and multipoint bridging service for both new generation and traditional video communications systems. YVCC integrates the Blue Jeans Network cloud-based video conferencing service into the Yorktel video managed services. YVCC enables personal and mobile applications, including Skype, Google Talk and Microsoft Lync, to connect to traditional video systems, for both intra- and inter-company communications. The two platforms are designed to provide flexibility to select the right deployment for the needs of the organization today and in the future and carrier grade infrastructure with fully managed video services to ensure user satisfaction.

“Video Cloud Connect and Video Cloud Connect+ address a critical problem for our customers who need a scalable, affordable alternative to capital-intensive, premise-based equipment to support the surging demand for managed HD video services,” Yorktel COO David Phillips said in a statement. “Our focus at Yorktel continues to be ‘making video work.’ With our Video Cloud Connect Suite we solve the hard problems associated with video infrastructure, so that our customers can focus on their business.”
